 This investigation looks at homeowners in bankruptcy, describes their experience and examines how often these households loose their homes to foreclosure. It explores the period of time between filing for bankruptcy and foreclosure, and describes also the lenders’ losses. It follows the homeowners, looks at whether or not they had enough protection, outlines the outcomes for those who filed bankruptcy and includes how often people lost their homes after filing.
