Responding To Foreclosures In Cuyahoga County: An Assessment Of Progress

By 2005, the problem of foreclosure had reached crisis proportions in Cuyoga County. The City of Cleveland had long been concerned with increasing foreclosures and vacant and abandoned properties. This report analyzes the progress made so far in reaching two goals set in 2005: 1) making foreclosures faster and fairer and 2) creating an early intervention program to help residents avoid foreclosure.
