One Man Helps Change the Face of Goshen, Indiana

Local resident Dave Pottinger has worked for years to make his vision a reality in Goshen, Indiana. Twenty-five years ago, Pottinger started by revitalizing the South Side Soda Shop, which became so successful that the Food Network profiled it in 2007. In addition, Pottinger has focused on local development, is a local landlord and has spearheaded other projects such as streetscapes. The local NeighborWorks affiliate, LaCasa of Goshen, nominated Pottinger last year for the national Dorothy Richardson Award for Resident Leadership, which he won.
