Property Appreciation Expected in 40% of Major Metro Areas in 2011
Veros Real Estate Solutions is projecting that home appreciation will improve by 2.5% to 3.5% in the next year in about 40% of metro real estate markets. Cities expected to see appreciation are San Diego; Pittsburgh; Fargo, ND; Washington, DC; and the Washington state tri-city area. The group also expects appreciation throughout the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa. The weakest market improvements are expected to be in Florida and Nevada.
