Local Organizations Receive $350,000 Grant from Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to Demonstrate Connection Between Energy Efficiency and Housing Affordability

The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation has provided a two-year grant to support permanent affordability by reducing energy costs through deep energy efficiency retrofits in single- and multifamily homes. Grant recipients are the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation, Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, and Champlain Housing Trust.
