HO380 Compliance Check-up for HUD Housing Counseling Program Managers and Executive Directors

Program managers and executive directors responsible for HUD-approved housing counseling programs will learn to assess and enhance compliance with federal regulations. Explore strategies to standardize counseling processes, manage staff training, and track counseling time using Personnel Activity Reports. Practice conducting file audits, completing HUD forms 9902 and 9910, and reporting outcomes that reflect organizational impact. Review quality control plans, conflict of interest policies, and fair housing requirements. Through hands-on exercises and group discussions, participants will develop the skills and confidence needed to prepare for HUD audits, improve program operations, and ensure ongoing compliance with HUD Housing Counseling Program standards.
