CB310 Understanding & Influencing Public Policy

This course gives you the tools to understand how public policy is made and how your organization can legally and effectively influence it. You’ll explore the roles of elected officials, government staff, and regulatory bodies, and learn how to build relationships that support community goals. Gain clarity on what advocacy and lobbying activities are allowed for nonprofits, and practice using a policy influence framework to develop strategies for real-world issues. Whether you're new to advocacy or looking to sharpen your skills, this course helps you elevate your community’s voice in policymaking.
