HO229vcx Homebuyer Education Methods: Training the Trainer

This course prepares you to design and deliver comprehensive homebuyer education programs tailored to your audience. You’ll explore adult learning theory, behavioral finance and change models to create engaging content. Learn to teach clients how to assess homeownership readiness, manage money, understand credit, navigate the mortgage process and maintain their home. You’ll also gain skills in lesson planning, group facilitation and program evaluation. This course equips you to build effective programs that empower clients to make informed decisions and achieve sustainable homeownership.

Course Type: Faculty-led Accelerated Model

Course Length: 9 days online. Meets 2 hours a day for 8 days. Day 9 has self-guided learning.
