How can housing connect us to our shared humanity?" That's one of the questions posed in an exhibit on innovations in affordable housing and community development on display at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. The exhibit highlights the work of six nonprofit organizations who have developed innovations, including two NeighborWorks network organizations. “A Better Way Home” has already seen 13,000 visitors.

With a national network of community-based organizations and its strong partnership with the Wells Fargo Foundation, NeighborWorks America continues to support housing counseling services for renters and homeowners facing distress.

NeighborWorks America's real estate convening marked the first chance that more than 160 staff from across the NeighborWorks network have had to be together in four years. In the days since, conversations started during the convening have continued and will continue throughout the year.
